2013 Subaru BRZ Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. - Subaru BRZ is a rear wheel drive sports car featuring the Horizontally Opposed Boxer engine. It was developed as a joint project between Subaru and Toyota Motor Corporation, to bring to the world a sports car with superior steering response and driving pleasure that everyone can experience. The Subaru Boxer engine in the BRZ was positioned even lower than other Subaru models so that the BRZ has one of the lowest possible centers of gravity s on the market today. This low center of gravity produces astonishing handling character and combined with a light weight chassis BRZ realizes Subaru's aim for "Pure Handling Delight" the driving experience taken to a new level.

While developing the two sports cars, Subaru and Toyota promised they would deliver totally different design languages, but upon close inspection, the two vehicles are almost identical. Both vehicles have a strong front fascia, but the BRZ will be distinguished by a Subaru signed hexagon lower grille, front bumper design, and headlight detailing. Other details setting it apart are the custom fender vents, integrated exhaust tips, and revised tail lamps.

As previously confirmed, the Subaru BRZ will be powered by the same 2.0 liter horizontally opposed boxer engine found in the GT 86. The engine even delivers the same 200 HP and 151 lb ft torque, meaning the promised 300 HP will be reserved for the STI version.

The understeer isn’t a deal breaker; with perfectly timed and moderated inputs (or with huge, pimp slap jerks on the wheel and heavy stomps on the go pedal), it is possible to avoid it all together and turn it into delicious oversteer. When the rear end goes, even in the wet, the BRZ slides slowly and progressively. It’s so easy to catch that you might find yourself fishing in your pocket for spare change with one hand while the other meters yaw around an off-ramp. (Subaru says that Toyota’s suspension tune will vary slightly, a tad softer in the front and stiffer out back.) The brake pedal feels a little less wired than the rest of the car, but the binders wind the speedo back toward 0 in a hurry.

2013 Subaru BRZ Price and Release Date :
Subaru BRZ goes on sale in Spring 2012 Autumn 2012 for Australia. Architecture of the BRZ is present at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 will be the last. No detail in pricing yet.

To achieve the "ultra low center of gravity package", the engine as a whole has been made more compact by such means as adopting the shorter intake manifold and the shallower oil pan.
