2012 Nissan Evalia | Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine - Nissan Evalia is a perfect multi purpose vehicle that will suit every Indian family, be it for long drives or comfortable ride with a gang of friends. Nissan used the Auto Expo 2012 platform very intelligently. There is ample of space for large families as it can comfortably adjust 7 adults with utmost ease and comfort. The auto giant unveiled its much hyped made in India MPV, Nissan Evalia, previously known as Nissan NV200 during the Auto show itself. This multi-purpose vehicle was revealed by the Vice-President of Nissan Middle East, Africa and Indian, Mr. Gilles Normand.

The first product of the Nissan-Renault alliance was the Primera, launched in 2001 and shared chassis with Renault Laguna that had been launched in 2000. Subsequently, Nissan''s Micra, Note and Versa models have shared the same mechanical design as the Renault Clio. Nissan Motors India Private Ltd (NMIPL) incorporated in 2005 as a 100% subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co., Japan, was set up with the objective of bettering the lives of people through latest Nissan’s Technology and products. The company started off by bringing Completely Built Units (CBUs) to India. The first product that the company brought in to India, for the Indian buyer, was the X-Trail which was in 2005. This was followed by Teana which was introduced in 2007 and the Micra which was introduced in 2010.

2012 Nissan Evalia Interior :
For the Interior, 2012 Nissan Evalia will accommodate 7 to 9 passengers and will be a competitor for Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo. Moreover, the MPV’s sliding doors offers more convenience and will be available only as a passenger vehicle from Nissan.

2012 Nissan Evalia Exterior :
The exterior of Nissan Evalia, in the Ashok Leyland will launch the Nissan Evalia MPV under the name ‘Stile’. Ashok Leyland’s Stile MPV will be the rebadged and restyled version of Evalia which will be available with both diesel CNG fuel options. Ashok Leyland Stile MPV will also available for the transportation of commercial goods.

2012 Nissan Evalia Engine :
This multipurpose car Evalia will be a seven seater and perhaps it could have a cargo model just like it has in other countries. In that car the Evalia cargo version will be powerful than the passenger car. The Nissan Evalia seven seater car is expected to have the 1.5L dCi 4 cylinder, common rail direct injection powertrain that will be outputting 105 PS. Following the use of this K9K 1.5l dCi engine that is co developed by Renault and Nissan, the Evalia promises greater fuel efficiency and power delivery. The engine will be mated to a five speed manual gearbox.

With the help of higher torque delivery at low rpms, Evalia will be able to be a performing car in cities and on highways as well. As per initial information, a petrol 1.6L powered Evalia could also make it to India. A 105PS powered front wheel driven Evalia is expected to have the agility of sedan. Meaning thereby that maneuvering it in the city traffic will be easier. The diesel engine is expected to deliver a mileage of 16.5 kmpl on the highway and around 13.2 kmpl in the city.
